Donations & Permits
The site is taken care of "Keren Hatsadik" supporters.
Keren HaTzadik was founded by the “Machshevet Hador” movement, on the first of Nissan, 5763 (3/4/2003). The fund was founded following many cases of distinguished families in Yerushalaim, senior workers of firms and businesses, well known educators, managers and hi-tech workers asking “Machshevet Hador” for assistance after they’ve got tangled in debts, or fired. These people knew they could receive the help they need without exposing their personal information to any public body, or anybody else at all, even if the movement loses governmental funding for it.
Ever since the founding, Rabbi Shlezinger, whom receives boxes of food for needy families, has not revealed any personal data on these families, and the fund management did not ask for any.
“Machshevet Hador” movement has become famous when it made a memorial service in memory of Rabbi Aryeh Levin ZTL, in the central Beit Knesset “Yeshurun”.

The service was attended by Rabbi Yisrael Meir Low, Israel’s former Chief Rabbi, IDF Chief Rabbi Yisrael Weiss, Rabbi Refael Levin ZTL, Rabbi Simcha Hacohen Kook, Rav of Rechovot, Mr. Moshe Katzav, the Israeli president, and others.
The second service that was held at the Beit Knesset Hagadol in Yerushalaim, was attended by Rabbi David Batzri shlit"a, Rabbi Chanan Porat, Etzel people and the world famous cantor Naftali Hershtik.
On both occasions thousands of people filled the room from one end to the other.
How many volunteers do we have?
Keren HaTzadik has about 500 volunteers helping poor families, of which:
³About 400 kids from youth movements and schools collect food from door to door.
³Around 100 car owners take the items to the families, and organize the food in neighborhood stores, as well.
The volunteers are doctors, real estate dealers, and accountants, religious and secular.
Kimcha Depischa (charity given before Pesach)
Matzot and wine have been distributed handsomely for Pesach 5763 (2003); each family received an expensive bottle of wine with an excellent Hechsher.
Since then known Rashi Yeshiva, bankrupt businessmen, educators who have been fired, and many more who can’t go to soup kitchens or warehouses because of their profession or position have turned to the fund for support.
