Free Private Lessons for Children of Needy Families

On Chanukka eve (5765 - 2004) a number of families turned to us and complained that they don't have enough money to enhance their child's education.
Thus started a new project in which children come to Bati Knesset in some Yerushalmi neighborhoods and they learn with Avreichim for free, strengthening their Limudei Kodesh. True, there are many whose profession it is to give private lessons to those who are having trouble in learning but these people who can not afford it, and hence are on our food receiving list, only they can ask for, and receive, free lessons.
During the summer similar projects will open in more neiborhoods - teaching needy children for free. In addition, there are plans to expand the initiative beyond Limudei Kodesh.
